practice driving

As i’ve had my learners for over 6 months I’m now eligible for my Restricted License and so all further work will be posted under ‘Get my Restricted’. :)

went really well with driving.

Sunday I drove mum home
Monday I drove.
Tuesday I drove as well
and I also learnt how to do a hill start! :)

I drove mum home after school yesterday. It went ok, but not as good as the weekend. I encountered more hazards which tested my responses which was good but then took a turn really badly.

• braking more
• steering still…

On the weekend I took mum driving to a town an hour way and it went really well :)

I went through the roundabout twice, and through busy traffic, and intersections and I overtook a milk tanker and it all went really well!

I definitely feel like I am finally getting better. Mum thinks I am too. I didn’t think I was good enough to take her driving to where we went but I guess I have improved a fair bit.

• going fast :D
• letting traffic go past me when I was going slowly
• keeping left :)

Now I need to learn how to do a hill start!

Recently i’ve been practicing a fair bit, and it’s become very obvious that it’s practice that I need!

Overall I did ok but I need to practice

• steering (thought I had this sussed but I guess not…)

i drove mum to check our mailbox the other day. We have a post office box about 25 mintues away :) then I had to park and I did so rather dreadfully. :) I’m getting there :)

wet to drive home yesterday, and i didn’t mind because there were a LOT of trucks on the road :)

i drove mum to exercise and back again. It’s not far but the practice is good. Mum thinks i’m getting better! :)

i drove mum to exercise class last night. :) that’s the third time now. :)
