How to be on TV or in a movie
It made me
laugh at myself 
"I was being interviewed. Looking back, I wish I'd thought out how I would answer. Then again, I was just nine years old!"
How I did it: I won that year's Spelling Bee, and so I ended up on tv! I was very very shy, and didn't want to make a big hoopla, so I turned down many interviews except about two. I said "excellent" about nine or ten times throughout. Apparently I couldn't think of any more adjectives to describe my experience as Spelling bee champ.
Lessons & tips: don't focus on fame, just do cool stuff you like. then someday, those things might land ya on tv
