Yesterday: two free waters, handed out at the train station. Twenty-six cents. I gave one of the waters to my co-worker, who said it was just what he needed.

Today: two cents. Plus, two kind people-Bobby at Legal Beans and Mustafa at the deli-gave my dog treats.

    Thanks, universe.

It is a habit, be it instilled at birth or developed over time, that we are negative, that we get pissy when things go wrong. Hardly ever do we celebrate when we’ve achieved a goal, or celebrate the little things in life that do in fact make us happy. We become consumed with the next task/goal to accomplish that we fail to properly reward ourselves for things we have done. I’m going to make a conscious effort to be more positive and celebrate myself when I do.

Well one accepts that the universe is conspiring on your behalf then should n’t you do everything (within reason) to help others?

So without even seeing any direct evidence of the this universal conspiracy – if you accept it then you maybe you can send out postive vibes youeself and also do PMA squared.

PMA^2 = Positive Mental Attitude x Positive Meaningful Act

    Happy Halloween! 7 months ago

I volunteered to march with one of the puppetry groups in the Village Halloween Parade…and I got to wear a Shamanic Cow costume. (Apparently cows help lead you to the underworld on the Day of the Dead…who knew?) It was so much fun, I forgot to ask someone to take a picture of me with my cell phone…fortunately, the Internets helped me out….

What you don’t see in this picture is my five fellow Shamanic Cows, including two charming British women who had impulsively flown over from England to attend the parade, watch the marathon (which was the same weekend), and celebrate the election…

    Yes. Celebrate the election.

    Happy Halloween!

Found two pennies on the street... 9 months ago

and a dime yesterday…for a while, my money mojo had faded because I was a little downhearted. Now I’m beginning to feel the pronoia vibe again.

We had an office supply delivery yesterday 11 months ago

that was wrong. Well, it all started with my ordering the wrong envelopes and calling to make the right order before it was delivered. But by Murphy’s law they sent the wrong envelopes anyway.
The delivery guy waited patiently while I made the call to solve the problem. I didn’t get angry. I told him it was my initial mistake anyway. He commented that he really liked my pen and I absent minededly told him he could have it. He said “Really?” and smiled.

We straightened out the order on the phone and the delivery guy said he’d have them to me first thing today. I thanked him and didn’t give it another thought.

When I got in this morning the bag with the envelopes were hanging on the front door and there was a message for me from the delivery guy that if I needed anything else please call.

Treating others with respect sure has nice benefits. :)
