plan four family holidays over the next twelve months

Having a ball :) The resort is great, so relaxed and peaceful.

There are multiple swimming pools and we took bub for a swim in the heated lagoon pool. He loved it and made friends with all the other swimmers.

Family holiday = so worth it. 2 years ago

Our very first holiday as a family of three is fast approaching and I’m looking forward to the change of scenery :) This will also be bub’s first overnight stay away from home.

A few weeks ago I booked a third holiday away for us – this one up to Hervey Bay in the middle of winter. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer up there than it is here, if not it should still be a lovely time of year to go.

We’ve been talking about the fourth holiday and we’re thinking about a driving trip down south to see family. Still working out the details.

Why so many holidays this year? Apart from them being fun, we’re trying to cram as much in before I have to go back to work at the end of the year :) 2 years ago

I’ve already booked in a family getaway to Noosaville for late April and a week down at Burleigh Heads in late October.

They’re only “local” holidays, both within a 2 hour drive from home, but sometimes I think these kind of holidays are the best. You get the change of scenary, the lovely beaches and that “away from home, on a holiday” feel without all the travel stress. Both are booked at resorts and are apartment style accommodation too, so plenty of room to stretch out and relax as well as everything you need being onsite.

I’m already excited about them!
