It took me a little longer than I anticipated to get my license but this past weekend I buckled down, finished reading the SIMMs manual did my check out dive and passed my test.
Wheee! With 48 dives I need to start looking at my ‘B’ level requirements.
Get out there in the atmosphere. It’s good for you. Vitamin S. ;D
Having a blast. Got my Tony Suit in last week, been working on more aggressive manuevers in it. Practice Practice Practice. My wife and I have committed in a big way by buying a cabin on the DZ premises. Can’t shake us now!
Composite landing:
13th & 14th Jump done. Worked with our master rigger and ordered some gear too! I’ve been told by late March most of my new gear will be here.. man I am psyched!
Jump’s 11 & 12 last weekend. Spring is coming, I can smell it.
Got my first coached jump in and saw just how weak I am. I’m pretty tight on my large controls but balancing multiple fine tuning points for relative work, need work. heheh.
Ordered a TonySuit (http://tonysuits.com). Hopefully slow my big frame down a bit and give aid in control sensativities.

Had a great jump. Check out the new datalogging.
Clocked in at 149, woosh!
Up to my 4th AFF jump but we were scrubbed last weekend due to wind conditions (14 steady w/ 19 gusts). Trying again early sunday morning (hopefully before the wind wakes up) but boy it’s getting cold. Picked up a pair of winter skydiving gloves from SQ1 and an Altitrack. Can’t wait to datalog a jump.
