sgrether is going to fondly remember soda for the next 365 days.
Well, today is my first day . . . this goal will be pretty tough because I work long hours for a place known for it’s inexpensive fountain drinks but I know I can do it!

this was simple for me because we dont really have soda in our house. but for other people that drink it everyday its probly really hard. what you need to do is slowly cut down. from once a day to every other day to every week. its slow but worth it. at the end you feel so much healthier.
Well, my next comment on this goal will probably be February 25, 2009 (new president!), but this should be interesting to try. I was reading in Fast Food Nation (good book) that one out of every eight infants has had more than a cup of soda in the past month, and that made me sad enough to try this.
A whole year without ever sitting down and drinking a cup or can of soda. I probably had about five sips of soda over the course of the year, but only under the circumstances that there was absolutely nothing else around to drink. It’s the spirit, not the letter with me-and I wanted to see if I could give up drinking it all the time. It was unusually easy-I don’t feel like drinking it at all anymore. :)
September 1st!
We’ll see how long it lasts. Hopefully I’m stubborn enough. =)
