I have shared my faith with others much, but never have I seen anyone change their life to follow Christ because of it. Just once I would like to see someone I’ve shared my faith with come to the realization of God’s love and accept the blessings that God offers.

Holy Friday and the church is going to have a special service. I really want Jer to go with me. I hope he goes and learns something.
I wish we could go to church more regularly but it is hard. I am such a bad example to my husband. There is nothing more I want in this world than to have him know Jesus and to accept him as Lord and Savior but how???
I probably have been a very bad example to him but I am still hoping and praying…
You live in His love: that has its effect. You’re not “leading”, just being a conduit for That love. Let’s be clear, one’s Higher Power (wahatever name one gives That) will do the leading just fine, thank you very much! No preaching. No better-than-thou-ism. Just live It for yourself.. most of us have our work cut out for ourselves WITH ourselves.
But … if one truly and sincerely does this, other people may, often do, come to This. It’s a natural attraction, not proselytizing. It’s Him (again, however you conceive that) working through you.
My spiritual teacher once said, “If you have the honey, you don’t need to invite the ants.”
Live in That sweetness, and be quiet about it. It’s the this-little-light-of-mine thing.
Each of us finds and sees his or her Lord (at least, each of us so inclined to look in spiritual directions does), in his or own way, in his or her own time. Each of us will name, cognize, have an image and identity of, the Lord/ Higher Power, etc… how else can we as humans think about Someone or Something too big and vast to conceptualize?
One can only, finally, live the love; That Love.
All by way of saying: Christianity, Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna, Buddhism, Truth, Love, Peace… all are different HUMAN names we hang on doors which open into the same room.
