To know how to and to deliberately put yourself in a situation pitting yourself against nature would be a mindblowing experience. To be able to survive comfortably away from civilization would be wonderful

Who knows when your plane will crash and you will end up alone in the Canadian Wilderness for months? Or find yourself imprisoned in an East Asian prison? Not to mention, isn’t it cool to wake up in the morning and know that you could survive in the Sahara? If you could survive there, then you can survive here, in this confusing and annoying civilization.
