    getting there oh, so terribly slowly!

    I’m fairly certain a large part of that has to do with my naturopath and, likely, a little physiotherapy. Whatever it is, it’s working. Slowly… It even seems like I survived the Christmas eating.

    the goal I didn't want to set 11 months ago

    gah. Yes, I’ve slowly put on a few extra pounds over the years. I’ve tried to make sure that it’s never bothered me and I’ve happily bought the appropriate sizes of clothing and never shied away from a bathing suit. But, 2 1/2 years after a 10 pound baby, there are definitely a few things that aren’t where they are supposed to be anymore. And, now that I’m getting my eating habits back on track and committing more fully to yoga again, it seems right to set this goal as a way to solidify all that. Because really, if I’m honest with myself, underlying “eat healthy” and “exercise and do yoga more” is the desire to shed a few of the pounds that have added up slowly over the last decade.

    So it’s time to do it.
