move back to Asia

If I can turn the corner and build an income in such a way that allows it, I’m off to the Himalayas. The thing I miss most is the innocence. I am sick of the jaded American. I might have been one once for about 2 yrs in college, but that was dropped so freely and so long ago.

We’ve lived in Thailand and Indonesia for a while and absolutely loved it. Being back in Vancouver is nice, clean and safe – but we miss the dirt, life, excitement and chaos. I’ve also noticed that our quality of life is so much richer in Asia. Everybody has coccooned in their condos in North America and nobody walks the streets – everything is so bloody antiseptic. Odd thing it, I’m always sick in Vancouver (asthma) but never in Asia.
