Eat at an expensive restaurant that I cannot afford

...and yesterday was the annual restaurant meeting. I wanted to participate, but I’m also trying to stretch my money, and expensive restaurant meals are not really in my budget any more. And apparently there was a limited choice of restaurants offering private dining rooms on Sundays, so that’s why they chose this rather expensive restaurant.

I’m glad we met for lunch instead of dinner, which made it somewhat less expensive. Also, I’m a little salad-deprived lately, so I ordered a big salad for my meal and was quite satisfied with that, and kept the cost of my meal down somewhat.
