right now! I’m on my grandma’s computer which is really awesome. I will upload pictures of my vacation when I get back. Got in at 4am this morning after leaving Wednesday night at 11:30pm. My mom & I are not the best of people travelling in a car together but we made out ok. Thank goodness. Only one hangup in Pennsylvania, and that was only 3 hours. Woohoo-I’m in Maine for the next 2 weeks at least!

My mom and I don’t generally get along very well driving wise. I mean, ever since I began driving, she makes noises. Granted more recently, she’s made less sounds but we also haven’t been in a car together for longer then like 2 hours. Driving to maine is like a 24 hour drive straight through. We’ll be doing 2 or 3 day drive as she’s not like she used to be driving wise. Someone near and dear to me suggested I get sleeping pills and give them to her. It does tempt me a bit, just as I know some of the arguments we have had about driving are definitely not boding this trip well.
Of course, she’s a more cautious driver, as she has age and experience while I’m more…well aggressive as I’m young and..not as experienced. This has been the debate when we talk of driving. I always make it from point A to point B ok though. Plus I did get a call that my driving record had improved and my insurance went down a bunch. Very nice there.
So anyone have suggestions? Think I should do sleeping pills? Think I should bring them in case? Let me know…this trip will be happening veryyyy soon.

Possibly leaving this coming week after my niece’s appointment with a breast specialist. When I took her to a gyno appt, her first, they found lumps and I guess they released milk too or something along those lines. We’re hoping it’s just like a freak thing, but benign. As they found 3 lumps, and she’s 16, that’s my hope too. My Uncle Phil in Michigan is getting something done with his arteries/something to do with his heart tomorrow. Hopefully all is well with family though, I’d hate to have another few years where more are dying off in my family.
In Maine, we’d visit my father’s side of the family which we used to see almost every summer. Plus there’s a chicken barn full of books ((drools)) and H.O.M.E. which is a cool little store which has homemade crafts etc. I’d love to visit the Bagaduce, Country View, Castine, Bucksport, and Rockland. Along with Deer Isle, Stonington, Belfast etc. These are both family spots that have family living around there and old memories. There’s things going on with the homestead, so this might be the last time to visit there. I am going to try to make like a travel log or something so I will be able to look back. I miss the way things once were…but change always seems to happen. I’m changing too, so I can’t really complain too much.
