This goal was supposed to help me have more time for other, more life-changing goals but I think that the time I saved by reading less, I just wasted on the internet. I’ve realised that high-achievers do manage to fit a lot in to their lives by being organised and not wasting time, rather than cutting stuff out. Next year I want to really stretch myself by pursuing several demanding goals. 3 years ago

Athena08Why?

Because one of my goals last year was to read 100 books, I spent a huge amount of time reading. While that may have been right for last year, for this year I want to focus on learning Spanish and completing my writing so I’m going to limit myself to no more than fifty novels. I won’t include non-fiction books as I may have to read those for my work, plus I don’t usually feel the need to finish a non-fiction book. As part of this goal, I may also give up finishing novels I’m not enjoying. A bonus may be that I read fewer books but really enjoy all of them instead of reading some for the sake of it. 4 years ago
