practice my trumpet more often

Since i play in like 4 different ensembles already (Two at my college, one at the neighboring college, and the community wind ensemble) i do play a lot during the week. I just feel that since i’ve been playing for 13 years now, i should be way better than i am. I don’t practice much outside of my ensembles. I want to practice at least an hour on my own a day…..ok….maybe i’ll start off with 30 minutes. (an hour is a long time!! :o)_

I’m such a bad kid. It’s not that I don’t like to play because I really do. I just don’t have any motivation. Since I’m not in school anymore and I don’t really have anywhere to perform I kind of feel like there’s not point. I did play some Goldman and little Arban’s yesterday.

Practiced for about 40 minutes this morning! Who’s excited?
I had so much energy when I woke up.
I got tired quickly, but hey, I haven’t practiced in aabout two months. 40 minutes is a start.
