How I did it: I didn't get into a legendary college. Definitely not. In fact I slid by on my smarts in high school. And what I got out was a decent place. It fits me though. I got into quite a few decent colleges based on my B+ GPA and my high SAT and ACT scores. But the one that ended up giving me the most financial aid was a small liberal arts school in Brooklyn. So that's where I am. Didn't put in a terrible amount of hard work to get here,especially as it's not terribly difficult to get into. Read how I did it… 19 months ago

It’s not the particularly hardest college to get into,but apparently to East Coasters it has a good name, so I’m happy with that. It’s not cheap- we’re talking $50k. Luckily, and the reason I’m able to attend, I got $30k covered completely by the school. The other $20k I’m still figuring out how I’m going to make up. But either way I’m going there and I’m happy:) 2 years ago
