write fiction every day

I need to create NEW material every day. I have a lot of ideas that I need to get on paper, but I have an issue with keeping anything that isn’t absolutely perfect. I delete, re-write, and edit all the time. All. The. Time. Adding more to my storyline, that’s what I need to do.

So, Thursday nights, I decided back in August, would be the nights that I write short stories, while the rest of the week, every day, I should work on the 2nd draft of my novel. I’ve barely worked on the 2nd draft and have written precisely three short stories. It’s hard not to be disappointed in myself.
