How to own shares in a company
How I did it: I researched many companies on the share market, and also compared graphs with companies. I waited for the best crash in the market to get the shares cheap ( you'll never know the best time, but you can get pretty close if you watch it each day). I made a list of the best all round companies, and looked at the best predicted growth.
Lessons & tips:
- Look at LOTS of companies and their financials, yearly and monthly graphs and company info for news on what could influcence them.
- Compare the big and reliable with the small and volatile: Learn the pattern differences with well established major companies ( perhaps in the top 200 ) to see why they're reliable and others are not.
- Learn about other stats and compare. eg. company debt ratios.
- Ask lots of people for advice, but also remember that even the experts get it wrong... shares can be like gambling.
