I am a dancer in the musical mama mia. and i am only 13. i have been in wicked mama mia mary poppians. And i was on the blue carpet at hsm 3 for being vanessa little sister
Wouldn’t like to have to do it every day,but it was funny even if it was a case of mistaken identity
Everyone enjoys having a personalized copy of a book, photo or souvenir. My favorite is a baseball (above) signed by all of Nevada’s top Democrats, including Senator Harry Reid and Congresswoman Shelley Berkley.
I think the first time I was asked for mine was when I ran in the Olympic Torch Relay in 1998 before the Nagano Winter Games. Since my history of Las Vegas – The Fabulous First Century was published in 2003, it has happened frequently.
raised to be polite, not to suffer bullshit Life is too short to make just one decision
this happened a few times in high school (i was asked to autograph a playbill for the spring musical and something i had written for our oh-so-competitive literary magazine), and a occasionally in college (for whatever reason, i was asked to sign my articles a few times). here’s hoping those signatures will be worth something some day, haha!
You don’t have to be a celebrity to be asked for your autograph. People want the autograph of anyone who has done something that they wish they would/could do! It’s kind of fun…but after awhile it can get tiring!
I have been in many theater productions. After the show, a lot of people ask me for my autograph. It’s almost always very akward… Neither of us know what to say, and I feel like I’m braging. It’s satisfactory, I guess, but not worth it.
Only do this if you need a giant ego boost.
After I was technical reviewer for UML In A Nutshell, I received a few copies of it. I gave a few to some friends, who then asked me to sign it!
It is quite funny, if kids come to you and ask you for your signature. But, as being on tv, you get used to it! Maybe I should adjust this to: Be asked for my autograph by someone, whose parents wount throw it away the next day…. (as I assume it is, what happened to my signatures)
(I got asked for my autograph on some World Championships and after tv shows)
