Healthy, home-grown, unique food. 9 months ago

I love fresh food, seafood, simple food, and interesting combinations of flavour.

We have just started a vegetable patch last year, but it does not yield a great variety at this early stage. I get almost all my fresh produce from Farmer’s Markets, and love learning to make dressings and sauces from scratch as much as is possible.
I have someone close by as a great mentor, who is creative with food. And I like to watch Jamie at Home, and find interesting recipes on the internet.

Some things I have learnt to make that I enjoy:

-Blackberry and ricotta tart

-Wild rice salad with cranberries

-Basic salad dressing, that can be creatively modified

-Cold berry soup

Some things that I intend on learning to make:

-Pumpkin pie, with my friend’s recipe which I hope to score :]

-Tomato sauce which my mentioned mentor will teach me when our
garden tomatoes mature

-Juice from the berries that I’m trying to grow

YEA! I COOKED CHICKEN A LOT OF TIMES! ITS GOOD!!! AND ITS SUCH A GREAT FEELING WHEN YOU EAT SOMETHING THAT YOU COOKED AND THINK: “WOW, I MADE THIS!” I CAN GIVE YOU SOME RECIPIES THAT REALLY WORK AND ARE EXTREMELY EAZY IF U WANT.

Cooking is fun 4 years ago

I used to do it more than I do now. Nowadays, I kind of need someone else to cook for to have the motivation to do it it. But even when I cook for someone else, I cook something I like, and I eat it and enjoy it.

I should start cooking more often.
