Kevin almost has his to-do list tackled!?

Once again, this is not at the top of my list 2 years ago

It sounds fun, and maybe even fulfilling, but for now I’m not going to worry about this one. My only bonsai experience so far has ended badly, and I really don’t think this is an area of most pressing personal development to me.

I had a kit to grow a bonsai tree. I started to germinate the seeds in a little bag, but instead of growing, the seeds decided to mold and die. The kit was thrown away, and I have not tried again since. If I have a place for plants in my apartment next semestter, and if I see a nice looking already mostly-grown tree, i may adopt it, but otherwise this goal is very much on-hold.

The first one I bought myself. It was beautiful. I dont know what I did wrong. I’ve gotten alot better at taking care of plants but the bonsai baffles me. I cant help it Im so drawn to them. The one I have now was a gift I recieved about 7 months ago. Its living but its turning brown on some parts. I read that it needs iron to be healthy so I took a tip from a website where you can either buy some fortified minerals for it or use a metal water can. It’s hanging in there but I fear that its close to its end.

the bonsai I’ve shared with my Mother for 15 years died. Not sure what happened but I think the hot weather stressed it out and it was unable to recover. Not sure how I could have saved it.
