Celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans

I want to go to Mardi Gras so bad next year with Adri. But that is so close to spring break and if i’m planning on going to oh i dunno, maybe Puerto Rico or somewhere tropical then there’s no way I can afford Mardi Gras. But…… that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t go my senior year. Something to think about.

Adriana wants to do it with me this year; but I can’t cause I’ll be here at school. And I’ll be here at school for the next 3-4 years. And then after that I have law school and it will most likely not be anywhere near Texas or Louisina. Too bad we cant do Mardi Gras in New Orleans; how perfect would that be.

Worth doing for sure. I have been several times and it is so much fun. I met my husband at my first Mardi Gras in 2002 at Cafe du Monde! Just goes to show love sneaks up on you…. Who says you can’t find love in one of the biggest parties in the world :)

New Orleans is way too crowded during Mardi Gras, and I don’t appreciate the disrespect and nudity.
St. patrick’s Day is much less crowded, has a wonderful parade with all the beads and everything. It’s a very expensive place to go. I can get drunk anywhere. Like on a beautiful, queit white sandy island…
