I want to be a teacher

once opon a time there was a lost dog it didn’t no how to get home the dog was scared.It found some dog friends to play with.one of the dogs askt if I wanted to go home with them.I said yes so I could go to sleep.I askt if I could live there.They said yes so that was my nice little home and that will be my family.For ever. more specifically, i want to be a sped teacher!

i want to become a teacher for the sake of all the small childern on the face of the earth.

Realistically, this goal is not financially possible for me right now. If I make the time to go back to school – it needs to be for something that has a job market so that I can still support myself. Teaching in Michigan unfortunately doesn’t do that right now. But you never know when things are going to change – in my personal life, my financial situation, or in the economy. So one day – because I have my whole life – I want to be a teacher.

I got a place at Leicester College, on an access course. This will lead me onto a degree course next year, and then…I shall become a teacher…how exciting is that?

I currently work with autistic children. I love working with kids and seeing them progress. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that sparkle in their eye when they’ve felt a sense of accomplishment.

Its taken me half my life to decide what I finally want to do…I thought about teaching solely because it fits in with my life, and I’ve been training to be a classroom assistant. But the last couple of weeks in my voluntary position in a school have made up my mind that I actually want to do it, not just because it fits.

The next step is to do an access course (applied for, waiting to hear from college), then off to uni!!
