have a real wedding

Hubby and I married each other twice and both times we were married by our pastor at his house and at church, respectively. We never had the money to just have the real wedding I’ve always wanted complete with poofy dress, pretty invitations, limo ride, big ceremony, and the big blast of a reception. I’m actually jealous of my brother in law who is getting married next week and is having the big ceremony and the honeymoon and all of that. I don’t know when we’ll be able to afford having a real wedding but that is something I’d like to do someday before I’m too old.

No wedding, got married in a courthouse. Wondering why I didn’t want a wedding???? It was my dream.

Our wedding was a courthouse event with little more than our parents to attend. I want a REAL wedding with flowers, music, dancing, a cake, a horse drawn carriage, a dress, a tux! Just a grand affair!

Both of my marriages were done in the Justice of the Peace’s office in Vegas. I always wanted a real wedding, not a big church wedding , but a small romantic wedding with the man I will spend the rest of my life with.
