Get home from university by boat

Ever since I realised that the river Trent, which runs through my university city of Nottingham, is joined to the river Humber, which runs through my home city of Hull, I’ve wanted to get home via boat.

I’ve measured the distances:

Uni house to river: 1.8km
Home to river: 5km
Distance travelled on river: 142km

I should make it in about a week at 20km per day.

I will need:

- Some fellow adventurers
- A boat (or boats - maybe some open top canoes) which can carry us, our tent, clothes and food
- To identify towns we can stop in for supplies (food and water)
- To identify places we can camp (illegally)
- A wind up phone charger.
- To be sneaky ( it's trespassing to go on 98% of rivers in the uk)
