Hey there folks..
I went into my third year of Greek..
You will find out first.. That you will learn English!!!!
Able to understand why the 90 day wonder Jehovah Witness at your door just doesnt get it..
You will gain a new appreciation for the bible.. and other literature.. and really.. how much Greek does not really help you increase your faith in the bible.. (Talk to me on this one)
I have tutored Seminary Students in Greek.. ( I still use my English Bible)
Why the Theologian (Armchair) who constantly uses word studies.. to stroke his own ego.. is more entertainment than to be taken seriously..
I can also help ya out with some Ideas..
Good luck yall

I’m back to this goal. Strangely, it is a real pleasure to read the Bible in greek, even if I understand less than a third of it.

This goal corresponds to a christian life started some 12 years ago.
I won’t mention that too much here (I’m French, but I know the idiom “Bible bashing”), as suggested in Matthew 6:17-18:
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head, and wash thy face; that thou be not seen of men to fast, but of thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father, who seeth in secret, shall recompense thee.
Even if I disagree with Bible bashing, I am struck by the wisdom and force of some passages from the Bible. In this spirit, this goal, in a way, is associated for with Mark 12:33:
“and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength”
