find my true friends

Person #1: I’m pretty sure this friend is my true friend. We never fight and it seems like we’ll be kindred spirits forever. :)

Person #2: This person is a little suspicious because I don’t know them as well as I want to, at the moment. I’m sure if I dedicate myself to them, I’ll find out.

Person #3: I want this friend to be my true friend but she moved extremely far away. Until we meet again, I suppose…

I know i have found some friends i will consider my true friends for eternity.
One girl i have known since highschool- her parents died when she was younger and my mother acted as hers! we were always more like sisters than friends. Since highschool ended we hardly saw each other got completly different groups of friends, and since i got with my Boyfrind three years ago it got worse!
we made the effort to have dinner regularly with my family! and it felt as if we were never apart when we did that! we also went on a cruise in the south pacific and for a holiday to Thailand together.
People are surprised when they hear that we still do things like that because they dont see us together any more or anything!

one group of friends that i met in my senior years at school i thought i would never get sick of! im not sick of them as such, i just feel that i am different to them. i honestly would go out of my way to make them feel special and to help them out! but it turns out i have to visit them all the time, or if i organise to do something they will agree but then have something better to do.
An example of somthing of the kind… my boyfriends 21st- i invited them. what i didnt know was that my grandparents were coming from Queensland for it and were here to celbrate my 21st also- which is next month but they couldnt come next month… so my mum contacted my friends secretly and asked her to get people together to come to make it a ‘surprise’ party for me also… if this was me i would have put so much effort into it. when it came to the day ony the friend mum spoke to and the other one i invited turned up… the firnd mum spoke to said “oh yer i was mean tto invite every one else, it was meant to be a party for you to but i forgot about it”
didnt that make me feel stupid!
