I’ve now entered my third week of doing this program. I’m still on what the program would call ‘week 1’ but I improve a little bit each time I do it and that’s all I really want. I’ve run into a little bit of a problem as I tend to have a nasty stitch halfway through and that is stopping me from completing the next run but am hoping that I can push through that within the next couple of attempts!
At this point I’m starting to struggle to make myself get started but I’m fairly stubborn so I’m forcing myself out there. Once I get started I’m actually really enjoying it and am already starting to feel better. 3 months ago
I started the C25K program on the 10th but only managed one day. What with my recently healed ankle the muscles around that ankle freaked out and cramped for days so I skipped the midweek one and then I had issues because I worked Friday and had to hand in an assignment in the morning… sigh
I started again on Monday (17th) and my muscles have come up a lot better. I am now sick but providing I’m not worse in the morning I’m going to go out again. If my asthma’s okay I’ll do the C25K workout. If it does flair up I’ll at least still go for a walk. It’ll be better than nothing. :) 3 months ago
I had started this and was doing really well for a couple of weeks. I’d already started dropping weight and I was feeling a lot fitter. Unfortunately, I then got gastro and couldn’t do much at all. A week after I got over that I got a cold and my asthma flared up too much.
After two viruses so close together I ended up suffering from post-viral lethargy and that lasted nearly 2 months. Just when I was about to start again I sprained my ankle! That was in June and I’m only now allowed to do anything more than walk, so I’m restarting the exercise program I was enjoying so much before the stream of illness and injury!
The plan is to get up in the morning and start then. If I manage to keep it up until Christmas time then it will be listed as done even though I would hopefully still be continuing! 4 months ago
