I have a new contact whom is a camera freak, as well as a professional photographer.

    Huh.  — 1 month ago

I just found the self-timer feature on my camera. Yay?

    Point & shoot  — 1 month ago

My camera is four years old and, although it takes great pictures, I have no idea why!

At school I developed photos (under heavy supervision) but have retained none of the information. It’s time to take my camera off “automatic” and learn about ISO settings & all: time to find out if I can learn to judge a picture better than an obsolete micro-processor!

I love my new camera.  — 3 months ago

it came with this editing-photoshop-ish software program & I did this today (oil painting effect).

started to try out different settings, took a negative shot of my face, spooky that was as it revealed the image of a ‘third eye’ just where it is supposed to be sitting, that was quite amazing.
i have a well developed ‘third eye’ but certainly didn’t expect it to show up in a photo…

i had this camera for yonks and still haven’t bothered to learn all the settings correctly, will dig out the manual and really practice using each setting appropriately.

I have about four cameras to do this with. I’ve read most of the manual for my favorite camera and I don’t have one for my newest one so I need to:
    a. finish the first one
    b. find the manual for the new camera

Manual setting  — 2 years ago

I’ve been working with manual settings & reviewing the images. It helps to see what the camera does each time, just tough to be ok with the results for events I’m into.

I’m improving tho – so that’s good news.
