I’m thinking maybe a 10-megapixel canon powershot. It has gotten great reviews and seems like it could be what I need: a compact camera to take quick snapshots.
How I did it: i used to have an olympus - it was pretty simple but enough. anyway, i always wanted a professional one. i did some researches and blah blah blah, so i found a kodak z7590 with a great price :] in was in a brazilian site like ebay. it isn't new at all, but it looks good and i'm completely in loooove. How I did it: I postponed and researched and decided and undecided SO many times. At first I wasn't interested in all at moving into the dslr realm, but a few months ago I decided that I might as well, so I purchased the entry level Nikon, the Nikon d40 as a motivation to get myself more into it and test my own skills. I'm still learning, but super happy with it. :) Read how I did it…
How I did it: After the looooooooooooooooooong selection process I have finally chosen the one I wanted from the beginning.Next week, after I had bought it, camera has lost third of it´s price and I´ve found out, that it is too big for daily use. But it´s nice to have it in case big opportunities for taking pictures occur (party, traveling). Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to Cosco and got an one that goes under water. They had a whole bunch I could try. They also had all the features listed for each camera. So I could think about what I needed the camera for and compare it against the lists. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I basically researched on many digital cameras that were out in stores. I even compared prices to one another and read many reviews form other consumers about a particular camera and what they got of of using it. Read how I did it…

and then forgot to use it on my recent trip to Mexico. LOL
Kept forgetting to take it with me places. Very mad at myself for that.
I have myself a Kodak DX3700, second hand. It takes pictures, that’s the main part. Unfortunately, it’s ancient, the viewscreen is barely visible most of the time, and it’s clunky as hell, so I was thinking of eventually saving up to get a slightly nicer camera.
I don’t really want a super cheap point and shoot. I would like to add to what I can do with a camera; I’ve taken photography courses and enjoyed tinkering with the variables. I don’t just want to take candid snapshots; I want to see what kind of pictures I can really take.

With my Christmas money I bought a Nikon Coolpix 8.0 megapixels camera from Best Buy!
I think I have decided on the Samsung SL310W. I have to wait for awhile to get the money, but I am really hoping I can get this camera before I go to Mexico this year.
My friend and I dropped my camera in the entrance to the Acropolis.

I think I’m in love. 10 mp, 3x optical zoom, touch screen and stylus – plus it’s a Nikon so you KNOW it’s amazing camera all around.
I’ve found it at just under $330 with free shipping, and I’ll have it just in time for my youngest daughter’s 3rd birthday.
I got this camera and it has been awesome. I’ve been taking tons of pictures everywhere I go. I’m coming up on a trip to Colorado and I can’t wait to take pics of a nephew I will be meeting for the first time.

My uncle bought me a digital camera when I was in Alabama. For whatever reason it wouldn’t recognize the majority of my photos and I traded it in for a newer one! Its a red M763 Kodak easy share! Love it!
