Buy a digital voice recorder

I had a Sony voice recorder about a year ago. It was really nice. I had recorded some of the conversations me and one of my colleagues were having whilst we car pooled together between Richmond, VA, and Charlottesville, VA. Unfortunately, I lost the recorder after about a month after having it. Well, actually, I think it was stolen out of my car whilst people were detailing it.

My wife and I were having some really deep conversations as of late, so I decided it was high time to replace the recorder. I did and now am reaping the benefits. Sometimes I listen to our conversations when I’m at work because I miss being around her and the recordings give me a sense of her presence.

My Olympus DM-10 came today. It got really good reviews on Amazon. I ordered it to use when I start interviewing people again who have successfully pursued their passions (it’s been helpful to have past interviews to draw from for my Worthwhile articles).
