1. My friends
I have been blessed with awesome friends from Townsville, seing as I had the most influencial adolescent history in that specific location. Through it all I have gained a variety of friends from different walks of my life there and I don’t know how I would have become the person I am today without them.
2. It’s perfect city size
It’s not too big and not too small. Everything is only a 20-40 minute walk away or even a quick bus ride. There aren’t too many sky scrapers or buildings that you could stand on/in front of and go “awe” but there are enough trendy shops and tourist sites there to totally max out your credit card :P
3. Clubbing weekends
I love dancing and meeting weird drucken cuties who try to pick you up at the Taxi Rank on the way home at 3AM in the morning. I love the night life at the clubs, I love the atmosphere, I love the music and the sounds of laughter from all my friends while we’re eying DJ Stacey to change to the tracks we’ve requested.
4. My complete independence
Townsville = my freedom. Simple as that. :P No walls, no restrictions but the ones I make for myself. It was all about gaining necessary experiences, independently.
