I recently developed a great love for sushi and sashimi despite everyone’s dislike for the food and misconceptions about it. Yes, it is raw fish, and yes, it is also delicious. For the time being, I only trust my sushi in the hands of a sushi chef, and I only eat it fresh. I have made it a handful of times without the raw fish, and it was still just as tasty. I aspire to learn how to make the dish and get very good at it. Good enough to say, “hey I can make sushi!” Cake decorating is next on my list. Because I’m a huge fan of the Food Network, I frequently watch Ace of cakes, and other related shows. I also aspire to get exceptionally good at cake decorating, so that I can prepare cakes for birthdays, parties, and other special events. Fruit arrangements are something that I have also seen on a few videos, and look like something simple and practical that I can learn quickly and efficiently. I want to master this skill as well for weddings and other special occasions. I hope to learn these few things so that I may be able to start a small but productive catering business in my home and spread the word among people I know. I think it is a great way to gain experience a make a little extra money.
