Finished Kiki’s Delivery Service yesterday. Cute movie. _ Really good for little kids.
Tonight I’m between My Neighbor Totoro or Spirited Away. I think I’m leaning towards Totoro though.
Apparently the video I was watching of Kiki’s Delivery Service wasn’t the full thing. :( I got about 50 minutes in and the video was over and I couldn’t find a second part anywhere online. Laaaame.
So I requested it from the library, and got Castle in the Sky from there too. It’s not one of my favorites, but I did enjoy it.
Now I’m off to Family Video to see if they have any others that I can rent in the mean time. :)

Today was a prolific day.
I’ve watched Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä and Gake no Ue no Ponyo.
I liked Nausicaä much more. The movie was very mature and the post-apocalyptic world was so amazing! It wasn’t like all the movies with destroyed planet. This world was full of plants and animals living in the polluted sea of decay. That was aaaaawsome.
Ponyo was a children’s movie after all but it was really cute and fun. And I have to admit: the animation is getting better with every single movie. And of course Hisaishi did credit to his name again.
Speaking of the other movies, I’ve already seen:
Mononoke Hime
Spirited Away
Kiki’s Delivery Service
Howl’s Moving Castle
Tonari no Totoro
So only Laputa and Porco Rosso ahead.
I love Miyazaki’s work. His brain is amazing and his imagination so vivid! I’ve just recently remembered how much I love his work and have started rewatching ones that I’ve seen and some that I hadn’t and always wanted to. So far I’ve seen:
Princess Mononoke
Howl’s Moving Castle
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
I want to rewatch:
Spirited Away (which was the movie that got me hooked originally!)
My Neighbor Totoro
Castle in the Sky
I just started watching Kiki’s Delivery Service. :)
