I was doing really well with this…i cleaned up before i left to go somewhere and before i went to bed at night..i loved waking up to a clean tidy room….i was good for awhile but now things are messy again…I’m moving in a week so when i get to my new place i will try again
I started this one yesterday. I tidied and cleaned my room to the max. I got up this morning and made my bed and tidied things as i went along. The hardest thing is going to be picking up my clothes and wash my dishes as i go along. Also I will have to get up earlier to compensate for the extra time to tidy as i go. I love how my bed looks all made up and i love how tidy my room was waking up this morning. I need to also apply this to my digital life on my computer and USB sticks and cell phone oh and my car too.
All I do is clean and before I know it everything is out of place.
sabryn okay...how about a calm December?
As soon as I’m finished with something, I put it up. The minute I walk in the door holding something (mail, shopping), I deal with it. Before, one step in cleaning the house was putting away everything that wasn’t where it belonged. So now I’ve got a step to skip in cleaning…the most time-consuming one.
I hate misplacing stuff. It’s the bane of my sanity. Luckily, I learned this early in life; and have worked tirelessly to become the anti-slob.
I got a bucket to catch all my pocket crap as soon as I come through the door. I highly recommend everyone get a pocket crap bucket. If used…no more searching for keys.
It only takes a second or two to put things in their assigned place; remotes on top the TV, books on the shelf, movies in their cases. If you think of the time spent putting things back against the time spent looking for stuff. Putting crap in its place can increase your time two fold.
... So hard to keep up. I take the time to clean up and get organized… and then, life picks up and I run in and out of the house. Before ya know it – one big mess all over again. I need to make more of an effort in this. It’ll help my OVERALL growth… I’m sure of it. :)
