I didnt have much of a choice but if I did have a choice i would never rent an apartment again. I advise my sisters all the time. Stay in school Stay at home work save your money and when your ready to move out have enough for a down payment on a condo or home. If your going to pay a rent you might as well pay a mortage only after 10 years you will own it.
I am now giving 800.00 which is cheap for NYC in rent for 200.00 dollars more I could be paying a mortage to own!
