learn to sew or knit

I’ve decided to cosplay for a convention in April, so I’m going to make a school uniform (I’m going as Haruhi from the TMHS). I’ve got the perfect pattern for the skirt, and a promise of help from my mother ^_’ so hopefully all will go well!

Also, I think having a time limit on sewing the costume will push me along a bit.

I’m not particularly creative, but this is a practical skill and provided I can use a pattern I think I’ll be able to do it!
As for knitting, I think I’ll pester one of my aunts…
