i love helping ppl and i still am

Over the years I typically help one or two organizations in some way, usually by donating in-kind services for creative work.

My “life work” is assisting Military Brats to connect, and reconnect and my social network site, Military Brats Online, is taking on a life of it’s own.

I believe that the key for us to live happily is by helping each other , to gain each other confidence , helping is the only key , that is what I believe in , and thats what I want to do .

Means I should have a lot more time to volunteer hopefully. Yup. Unfortunately… most community service opportunities occur on the weekend when I have work, but I’ll see what I can do.

I also intend on donating a portion of my yearly earnings to some type of organization that helps people. I usually try to pick smaller groups that help people around the area, or children in other countries. Anyone have any ideas?

I want to donate my time and money so other people who are not as lucky as most of us can be happy and follow their life long dreams.

Maybe it’s because I’m a mother, but I get great satisfaction from helping other people. I don’t mean to sound goody-goody, I’m no angel!

Bringing up kids is a long process of helping others, but whatever you do, you always have some skill or asset that others want. With six kids, we have a big car, so I’m always in a position to give lifts. You’d be amazed how much you can help by giving lifts.

So I guess this is a bit of a “I’ve done this,” coupled with a “I want to do more of this” as well.

Is it selfish to want to help other people because you feel better about it? I mean, you still end up helping…

I believe in the law of attraction! When I started thinking this is something i want to do and started believing i could do it i got a job teaching 2 classes of children music in a after school program at an elementary school. They hired me on the spot and asked me if I had a fixed price but i said i would do it for free, which might of been a stupid thing to say, but all i really want to do is inspire these kids. It’ll be a lot of work but probably worth it. Since I started thinking this way I’ve tried to help an old friend understand herself more but she doesn’t want to be enlightened I think she understands but thinks she knows that its to much weight for her, oh well you can’t help everyone, all I can do is hope the best for her. But ive helped a friend get over a loss and if i keep thinking this way i will continue to do something good for this world which gives my world soul.

I have to make the world a better place if I can. And by helping people, hopefully they will realize that I am trying to change into a better person. Yeah… a jackass can never come back as a horse, but hey, he/she can try.
