walk, run, swim, and hike with my husband

We were on an actual hiking trail, with walking sticks. We did this last week. It made me want to do it more!

This past Friday we walked; last night we swam. When we did our laps last night, we took turns timing each other, to see how fast we could go. Excellent interval training!

We swam last night and last Sunday.

We swam a week ago Sunday. We walked last Thursday. For our vacation later this summer or fall maybe we can do some hiking.

During April, we averaged one hour-long evening walk per week. With the days getting warmer and longer, it’s been a joy to spend time outside together like that.

This past Saturday we walked in our neighborhood. My husband is getting over a cold and wasn’t feeling his best, so we strolled. It was good to be out in the neighborhood. Can’t wait until we have some green on the trees.

We took a nice long walk in the sunshine late this afternoon. Yay, spring is coming. What a relief.

It was so rainy last night that I suggested we stop at the mall and walk there.

It was packed with people, so our activity was more stop-and-go and dodge-a-stroller than brisk walking.

Last night we went for a walk. It was warm but very windy, and the half moon cast incredible shadows.

It was cold and dark. But at least the wind wasn’t blowing. We walked for 40 minutes. When we got home, I was frozen—but happy to have done that with my husband. Yay!
