Say "THANK YOU" to every soldier in uniform I pass and shake their hand!

This morning I was in the grocery store, and saw a soldier in uniform walking towards me. I was a bit embarassed, and I should have said more to him, but instead I said, “Excuse me, but could I shake your hand?” And he smiled and said “Yes, thank you!” And I said, “Thank you!” Not brilliant of me, but I think he got the message. I just don’t see many soldiers, so I wasn’t really prepared, but at least he got the message.

and that should never happen again! Every person who serves their country deserves our gratitude and thanks! I intend to do my part to see that happen. A friend of mine’s husband died today. He was exposed to Agent Orange while in VietNam.
