Got a scented bag from a Christmas shop – helps combat the mustiness I get from having the airing cupboard – it smells of Christmas spices and orange.

Painted White… It has a sage green carpet so thick my feet sink into it … It has a metal black/bronze wall art tree with 7 candle holders n I put White tea lights in there on a Friday evening in thanks giving to God … It’s awsome …

anything else I can think of that causes stress in my life.
I never did get around to putting a television in my bedroom because there wasn’t a cable outlet, but I’m glad now that I didn’t.
Of course, I have to have my alarm clocks and iPod but nothing else.
It really needs to be my sanctuary, with calming music, pleasant fragrances, and everything orderly. I still have not purchased any additional pictures as soon as I decide what I want.
I used to go to sleep listening to Gregorian Chant. I may try that again. Not that I have any trouble sleeping. I’m so tired all the time that I could sleep on the floor. I just wish I had better dreams, or any dreams at all. I’ll have to look into this again too.

She writes “Comfort drawers are for those nights when you feel as if you’d like to pull the covers over your head and never come out”.
Well, lately, I’ve certainly felt like that. So I have taken Sarah’s list, and added to it.
First, line your drawer with pretty scented paper and add sachets.
Add scented votive candles to place around your room, or a string of small twinkle lights.
Soothing music, or your favorite uplifting music.
Small box of special chocolates (Godiva?) or Specialty cookies
Single size bottles of after-dinner drinks.
Bath treatments, bubble bath, lotions.
Small books of enlightenment. My favorites are:
“Angel Wisdom” by Terry Lynn Taylor, “Creating a Charmed Life” by Victoria Moran, and “The 100 Simple Secrets of The Best Half of Life” by David Niven.
Sleep Pillow
Satin Eye Mask
Samplers of special teas
Personal mementos (I have a heart-shaped rock found on the beach)
Favorite Pajamas
A beautiful shawl to wrap around yourself.

Since I cant afford a new comforter, I will work around this to make it more serene.

Since I have cats, and they are VERY curious, diffusers are the better plan.
