be the best teacher I can possibly be

The next step is to improve my subject knowledge. I’ll start doing this more once I finish my Masters.

..as it’s something I want to keep working at, continually. But it’s got to the point now where I’m putting so much into it, while managing to keep my own life balance, I feel that for myself I’m really on the edge of what I can really do just now, pushing the boundary of my own resources and ability.

It’s got to the point also where if I’m not getting feedback from them saying I’m the best teacher they’ve ever had etc, I start to think I’m doing something less than I could be. It’s almost like I’m expecting that now as it happens so often. Which I suppose is good for them, and it doesn’t seem to be making me complacent.

What I’d like to do now is keep that level while cutting back if possible even more on the energy it takes from other areas of my life, so make it even more minimal and contained, without losing out on the quality of the students’ experience in my classes.

Again, A. She had asked me if I had a boyfriend, and I said no. I told her I was waiting for my true love, but maybe it was a bit unrealistic.

She’s living with two Colombian women and picking up some of their mannerisms, I’m sure of it. So cute.
