We’ve gone yet another 6 months without communication so I texted him to announce the wedding. He was in Australia at the time but when he got back to South africa he managed to get the message.
My brother was once an ordained priest so I have asked him to officiate the blessing(hand fasting) on Piel Island. He was over the moon!
