...And my stuff is in there. Still in the process of getting everything workably organized… but I’m checking this one off. It’s already very peaceful, having a separate area.

... means an art studio for me!
I’m going to mark this as done after getting all my art stuff set up and organized in there when she leaves.

I may be able to check this one off in maybe a month or so…
To be a real artist you don’t need a studio. Just space to create. And then you have to do it. I have had a studio in the back yard, a studio/gallery space in a downtown arts building, a studio home office and now have a studio room in my home. The gallery is the living room. I learned the most by having a space in the arts building. I met those who were interested in my art and got to hear what they thought about it. It’s the best way to go. But most important is to create no matter what.
I’ve got windows :-) ... no building yet, sigh, but a bunch of windows. My lover is starting to draw up plans, and we’re trying to generate ideas… especially on how we can build it well, green and inexpensively.
I’d like to have an art studio where I can paint, collage, photograph and play. Have it be a kid friendly space where, at the end of the day kids in the neiborhood could come and play & experiment too.
