be more witty

It’s being less focused on being more witty!

You just have to practice and observe other witty people.

It’s hard to TRY to be more witty because then you overdo it and all the spontaneity is gone. I do this sometimes when I’m around people I want to impress and I end up feeling like an idiot when they laugh out of pity.

I find it infuriating when presented with a unique opportunity for witticisms and repertoire, and the best up with which I can come (lol I love nonsensical syntax) is a pathetic pun or inane, obvious comment.

I’ve always admired witty people for better or for worse. A witty person makes a great comedian. A witty person also makes an interesting conversation. I’ve always found it fun to be around someone who is really witty because you don’t come across people like this too often. I’d like to think I am a little witty and although I believe it is almost 100% innate, it’s still a goal to remain as witty as possible. I don’t normally look up to celebrities or athletes as heros or people I look up to, but it’s always fun to follow a witty character!
