How I did it: I peeled a turnip. Then I sliced it thin. Then I brushed a cookie sheet covered in foil with olive oil. Then I lay the slices on the sheet and brush them with olive oil. Then I baked in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Then I let them sit for 10 minutes or so. Read how I did it… 4 years ago

I just finished making turnip chips. I think they’re supposed to be crispy, but mine turned out flimsy. That’s okay because they’re wonderful, anyway! I wasn’t sure I’d like them.
I used one big turnip, and I still have three smaller turnips leftover, so I’ll probably make some more chips tomorrow.

I’m going to make turnip chips. Turnip chips can be made by brushing olive oil on thinly sliced turnips and baking them in the oven at 450 for 10-15 minutes. Sounds great.
I don’t have a backup plan yet (in case I can’t find a good slicer). 4 years ago
