bellewitch Contemplating my list !
Witches love dollar stores. There are so many neat things to buy there. But when you Irritate the owners of the store, 2 things (or possibly 3).
1. They ask you to leave and suggest you take your business elsewhere.
2. They close down because of lack of business (possibly related to number 1) and then you are screwed until you find a new one. However, and this relates to 3. This may no longer be a Dollar Store.
3. You have a fit because The shopowner has DARED to include an item that is More than a Dollar and you insist that this is false advertising etc. Where I live, this Could get you arrested for some sort of loitering or nuisance crime. It has never happened to me, but I have read of such things.
So now, when I find one, even if they are experiencing inflation, I mean, aren’t we all ? (Even thrift shops I might add). I patronize them with a smile, and ask no cheeky questions…. ;0
If I feel an outburst of How Much Is This coming on, it is best to apply it where there actually is a question. In my opinion anyhow.
Our New Economy even has dollar stores closing.. :(
