be a professional writer

I’ve been thinking about just what I want to do with my life a lot lately, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to be a writer. I’ve always loved to write, and I’m currently working on my first novel. I want it to be finished when I get out of school, which will be 3 years from now. I’ll be nineteen and finally able to shape my life the way I want. I’m still going to go to University, but I don’t want to spend my life working and working and not being able to enjoy my life because I don’t even like what I’m doing. It’s so sad, and most people live that way.
It would be my ultimate dream to live off my writing. =)
