It says specifically in my contract no pianos and no guitars
:( I guess that’s fair enough.
How I did it: I dug out my old sheet music and started plunking away. At first, it was like learning a foreign language...again. Bits and pieces seemed familiar, like the fingering...other parts, like reading the notes, were totally forgotten and had to be relearned.
Lessons & tips: Be patient with yourself...and keep practicing! Enlist the help of a piano teacher, if you've never taken lessons.

I went and looked at digital pianos on Sunday with Chris. I ended up staring at them for a very long time, so long that we got locked in and they had to let us out the back of the shop! So at the moment, I’m umming and ahhing about whether to get one or not. Moving towards get one I think.

With myself, because this used to be such a big part of my life! So did a lot of other things that I no longer do and I haven’t found other things to replace them. It seems all I do lately is go to uni, study, eat and then do it all over again the next day :(
I used to play in grade school but gave up because I had too many things going on. I think my children would enjoy it and would want to learn as well.
Looking for sheet music online so I can start playing piano/keyboard again. I feel like I’ve forgotten how.
Looking for “better” – lovely that
I haven’t played in four and a half years. I miss playing the piano dearly; it was all I used to do. The reason I quit really is pathetic now that I think of it, but I just can’t seem to get back up and start playing again. Even if I would, I probably have to start all over again, doing the finger exercises that I hated, and all of those years I played would have been for nothing. I feel like such a failure… :(
I bought myself a digital piano two weeks ago. I’ve forgotten a lot, but bits and pieces are gradually coming back and it feels great to be playing again. Progress is slow but steady. :)
I still remember the last song I ever played on the piano: Velocity. And I played it with gusto. Now, I can’t even play chopsticks. I couldS kick myself for quitting. So, I want to relearn. Or, I could always go back to the trumpet.
The biggest problem about playing the piano is the size of the piano. It’s impossible for me to buy, own, store, or move around something like that at this point in my life. Instead I sit down everytime I see a piano and play the parts of songs I can remember (Fur Elise, about half of Moonlight Sonata, parts of Chopin pieces). Everytime I went to my mum’s to visit I’d sit down and dig out sheet music and play away, but the last time I went home I discovered that most of the keys no longer work. :(

I bought this over 10 years ago. But I have not been practicing till today.
I will do it!
