have a great 18th birthday

My birthday was a lot of fun.

Plans:
Wed June 11th- an exam during the day :(
Thurs June 12th- the actual birthday, but I have an exam the day after so revision will have to be done.
Friday June 13th- tea party after the exam!
Saturday June 14th- my fancy dress party!
Sunday June 15th- recovering…

We have booked a room for my party.

i don’t know what i’m doing to celebrate but it would be cool if it were really, really, really fun.

it was a great b-day. i had a party a few days before n it was cool, just had cake with friends then went to see Smokin Aces. However today was my real bday and it was still cool. very laid back. hung around. got some happy bday calls and stuff and went out to dinner with the fam. YAY

I spent it in my room by myself.

Well, in the legal sense of the word. Still rather ADD, and very weird on the inside. And on the outside. Lol. But, legally I’m an adult. And oh the coolness! We got something in the mail today that said something about, ” you must be 18 or older to enter this contest…” and I just said, “ha! ha! I don’t want to enter, but I could if I wanted!!! Ha!!!” It sounds stupid. But it was cool. So, my grandma and grandpa put my b-day on the radio, and a friend called me in the middle of the morning to sing happy birthday, another texted me, and I got calls from family! It was cool. Ooh, my big sister and her husband got me an mp3 player for b-day/graduation, and my parents got me a guitar amp! a PEAVY!!!! yes!!! it’s so cool. I had no idea. And a watch, instead of a class ring. But some really great things about today,something I never want to forget, I tried so hard to freeze it in my mind, mom, danielle (addy), dad, and grandpa all gathered around the beautiful cake my mom made, (angel food with seven minute frosting! mmmm!) (she also made one of my favorites for dinner, taco soup!!!)with the candles lighting up all of their faces, bright smiles! It was so wonderful to spend the day with people I love. I’m going to hang on to that memory. It’s a special one. So, even though I didn’t have a party, or anything it was still a great day. yay! I thank God for another year, and thanks to all of my friends and family for being a part of my life. Love to all!

I will be eighteen in ten days. Ah, legally able to think for myself!!! Although, eighteen sounds so OLD!!!.....hmmmm. March 21st! heck yes!

It wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. It was at the Gaylord Texan with my almost-30-yr-old brother and sister-in-law, who only care about status…. Not the most fun I’ve ever had. But it was fancy.
It’s absolutely wonderful BEING 18 though!!
