Well I joined a gym, it is open 24 hours so I can go anytime and work out. I haven’t been exercising like I should. I’m sure if I do, the weight would come off much faster and I would be much more firmer. Winter is here, I can’t afford to sit around and be lazy, I only have 5 months to get 60 lbs off. I would be happy to get 50 lbs off by June. Besides I really don’t want to waste $40.00 a month…now do I?

I got the Eyetoy Kinetic for Christmas. This, I asked for. I knew the post holidays would be busy and I would be out of town for a week in the end of January, so I waited to start the routine.
I finally started it and have finished the first week. They start you out slow, but I can feel it. In my arms, especially. I opted to do the upper body toning the other night, and realized I have none. The few push-ups I could manage have left my shoulders and chest in pain. Nothing tremendous, mind you, but still quite uncomfortable and it makes lifting my arms a bit of a chore.
I’ll be quite proud if I can follow through with the 12 week program. Then from there maybe create a routine of my own. Say, do the 12 week program, then relax for another 12 but occasionally doing the mini-games to stay active, and continue to alternate from there.
This could work out very well.
I’ve been doing my sittups and pushups twice a day and have been running for 10 weeks now. I started getting hooked about the 6th week. I knew it when I felt excited to go running for the first time in my life!
I’m told by friends that it is the 6-8 week mark that is the challenge to continue past. At that point you have toned up but the gains become slower and harder.
I decided to make it a lifestyle change when I started. Every other day on the running. When the running earned designated days I knew it had priority.
